By air, flight connections are available from either Atlanta, Tampa, Orlando, Jacksonville and most regional hubs. We offer complimentary ground transportation upon request from Tampa, Orlando and Jacksonville to your hotel in Gainesville. In addition, we will transport you to and from your hotel for your appointment at the Douglas Williams Executive Health Program.

Accommodations

Our staff will assist you in arranging accommodations at a location close to the Douglas Williams Executive Health Program. The Program is often able to arrange preferred rates for our clients at many area hotels.

Local Weather

For the major part of the year, Gainesville is very warm with temperatures hovering in the 70s and 80s. Patients wearing contact lenses are advised to bring sunglasses. November through early February will bring cooler weather to Gainesville. If you schedule an appointment during this time, we recommend a jacket or a thick sweater and a pair of hand gloves when temperatures may range between the 40s and 60s. We are fortunate to be located centrally to many world-class vacation destinations. We can assist you in making hotel and travel arrangements to exciting spots like Walt Disney World, St. Augustine, Universal Studios, Busch Gardens, Sea World and Amelia Island. We also can arrange golfing, fishing and spa excursions.
